Qa-113, 21 November 2020, Statement Of The Spokesperson Of Ministry Of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hami Aksoy, In Response To A Question Regarding The Statement Of The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Of Greece On Turkey’s Seismic Survey Activities In The Eastern Mediterranean
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece, through yet another statement on November 21, repeated its well-known claims and objections regarding the seismic survey activity being conducted by Oruç Reis on the Turkish continental shelf.
These claims and objections have been responded to in six separate statements released by our Ministry since last July.
Turkey will continue to resolutely protect its rights and those of the Turkish Cypriots in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Greece should respond positively to our calls for dialogue, instead of making statements following our each routine NAVTEX announcement.
